One of the biggest interior design trends of 2014 is yellow. Yellow feels fresh, modern yet classic and is easy to mix with other colours.
Use it for sofa and chair covers, cushion covers, bedroom products and curtains from Bemz to give your home a fresh and spot-on-trend look!

This is what she wrote (translated):
"Dear Bemz team,
This was worth waiting for. I hope that the photos makes you happy. I am really happy and proud of my new sofa.
Greetings from a fluffy corner of Berlin"
It looks really stylish with the white sofa, flowery cushion covers and curtains, and we do love the cats, they really seem to enjoy the sofa!

Playground
As the name suggests, Playground is all about playfulness. Happy colours and daring patterns mix with Scandinavian design classics and modern favourites. A white backdrop ensures the splashes of red, green, orange, blue, and last but not least, black, do not overload the look. Design and functionality are key for this family-friendly lifestyle.
LITTLEPHANT FABRICS AVAILABLE FROM APRIL 2014

Bohemian Chic
The relaxed, yet sophisticated Bohemian Lifestyle is characterized by a hand picked mix of modern iconic designs and antique classics. Plush carpets and billowing curtains soften dark wooden furniture. Don’t be afraid to mix colours and textures, these are exciting clashes that will enhance that bohemian look!
The bedroom is a peaceful refuge from the day’s stresses. Beautiful throws, varied based on season, trend or mood, contribute to the cosy atmosphere. The same applies to cushions. Although a variety of solid-coloured, patterned and embroidered cushions are used, there is no feeling of clutter. A sense of personal luxury is created with a subtly wrinkled linen bed skirt.

Scandinavian Country
The Scandinavian Country home is an interpretation of a romantic past. Sweet pastels and dainty patterns are set against neutral white walls and floors. Quintessential florals, informal stripes and checks emphasise the rural expression. This style speaks to those who love fixing up old flea market finds and repainting inherited heirlooms.
Create a cozy, romantic vintage-looking bedroom using whites and light pastels, ideally in crisp linens. A pleated bed skirt orupholstered headboard paired with cushions and throws underline the tranquil and harmonious vibe.

Simple Life
Simple Life is one with nature, taking root in rugged coastal scenery. Conscious pairings of new and old, along with an adapted sun bleached, stonewashed and sea worn colour palette, creates a home that exudes simplicity and natural elegance. Various light coloured textiles reinforce the fresh and simple look of this nature-inspired decor.
The typical Simple Life bedroom is discriminating and uncomplicated. The focus is on function and free of clutter. A washed linen bed skirt brings a balance of elegance and natural simplicity. A wooden pallet, or a worn wooden crate standing on end, serves as a bedside table. The guest room bed is transformed into a daybed simply by adding matching cushions.

Urban Living
Urban Living evokes a self-confident attitude and a singular character. Angular and minimalist but far from dull, this interior relies on a mix of textures, including highly polished surfaces, brushed steel and exclusive woods to create a chic and functional feel. The colour scheme is monochromatic, based on either a dark or light palette.
The Urban Living styled bedroom takes inspiration from hotel rooms. Its function as the perfect retreat from the daily stresses of city living is fulfilled via a coherent colour scheme. Carefully selected designer cushions are lined up while a stylish throw sits at the foot of the bed. An upholstered headboard and a straightbed skirt with box pleats contribute to the sense of serene luxury.

Nine lovely bloggers from the Bloggers Tour 2014 visited our Inspiration Store in Stockholm. We had some nibbles and drinks and the bloggers got to create their very own cushion covers.
We supplied them with Bemz cushion covers, paint, pencils, studs, sequins, fabric, fringes and much more and let their imaginations run wild. They created lots of creative, beautiful and fun contributions.
At Bemz we are all about personalisation and DIY-projects. And it is easy and fun to create your own, one-of-a-kind cushion cover, why don't you try it?

Yvonne Eijkenduijn who runs the lovely blog Yvestown got a slipcover from Bemz and took some wonderful pictures of her home and her "new" Nikkala sofa that we wanted to share with you.
Yvonne bought a second hand Nikkala sofa and made a total make over with a new, light slip cover in Absolute White from Bemz.
"I went online in search for the best "vintage" IKEA sofa and found a Nikkala for just €25 with a really ghastly purple slipcover. The sofa itself was in tip top shape. I came home, assembled the Bemz slipcover over the sofa and ta da; a brand new sofa for just €25." - Yvonne says.
That's the beauty of it, it doesn't have to cost a lot of money to get a completely new and personalised sofa! If you don't already have an IKEA sofa at home, buy a second hand IKEA sofa and design it anyway as you like with Bemz slipcovers. Choose between Regular Fit, Loose Fit Country and Loose Fit Urban and more then 220 different colours.
Thank you Yvonne for letting us share your photos!

Here is what Anne wrote: Cover just installed! Perfect.
And we can only agree! Goteborg looks absolutely amazing in Plum Panama Cotton sofa slip cover from Bemz. The classic colours of brown, beige and white and the expressive purple is definitely a winning combination.
