From catwalks to interiors, the tailored look is cropping up more and more. Although slightly more edgy than conservative, we are seeing traditional patterns and fabrics being used in less conventional ways from tea sets to wallpapers.

Gents fabrics are key to this trend: pinstripes, herringbone and houndstooth are classics which are being reinvented as backdrops for colorful, exciting pieces.
