Over the summer, I am going to do a series on interesting "Did you know" not-entirely-random facts, focused on details that sit close to Bemz's heart, and hopefully many of which you did not already know about. Here's the first.
At the start of the 60s, there stood a strong, powerful and handsome young man on the brink of history; and by his side, his beautiful, fashionable and media savvy wife.
Did you know that on being criticized for her love of Parisian haute couture, the soon-to-be First Lady invested in seven inexpensive cotton shift dresses by an unknown, bohemian Finnish design house? Jacqueline Kennedy went on to become a cherished icon, loved by the people and a fashion inspiration to women around the world.
And as for that bohemian Finnish design house? Marimekko was firmly on the map. Read more about it here: the Bemz Marimekko collection.

That's the kind of image that i really thing is super image like. If more images very real like this were out there we'd be super full of graet images in the world.
