This week's customer feature comes to us from Sharon of the UK who transformed her Ekeskog sofa in a Sand Beige Tegnér Melange Textured Cotton cover from Bemz.

Kramfors in Germany: Before and after

Kathrin of Germany sent in these before-and-after photos of her Kramfors sofa revamped in a new cover from Bemz.

That's the before with the IKEA cover.

And here's the after shot with a new cover in A Paler Shade of Grey in Panama Cotton from Bemz. The new cover brings the room to new a level of sophistication and class, giving it a more urban look.

Revamped Lillberg rocks in Melbourne

Every Friday we try to feature one of the many, many photos sent in from our satisfied, or should we say proud, Bemz customers, right here on It's a Cover Up. We know all too well how daunting the decision making process can be when you're trying to decide on a colour or pattern for a whole sofa cover, based on a small fabric swatch. That's we try to get as many different styles, colours and patterns up on our list of testimonials as possible. Please take a look through them if you're looking for inspiration or ideas. Ekskog gets quality new life in Finland

This week's testimonial comes from Marika of Finland who chose a Bemz cover in Sand Beige Panama Cotton for her Ekeskog sofa, a discontinued Ikea model.

"Thanks again for the Ekeskog slip covers which we received this week," wrote Marika. "They gave new life to our old sofa! I'm specially amazed about the great quality in the fabric but also in the zippers! The original Ikea zippers of the Ekeskog sofa covers were of poor quality - two of them were broken after washing the covers. And then we found out that Ikea does not sell the Ekeskog sofa nor the covers anymore... We thought that we need to buy a new sofa as the covers could not be fixed. That's why I was happy to run into your company's webpage and to find out that you make the covers! Thanks to you and good luck to your great company! :)"

Kivik, Henrik & Stockholm: Full home makeover in Toronto

On Fridays, we generally share one of the many photos sent in from our satisfied, or should we say proud, Bemz customers, who open the doors to their homes and inspire others.

This week's testimonial, our second this month from Canada, is a real before and after treat. Indeed, as you can see below, Julia of Canada pulled out all the stops in her recent full home makeover, giving her IKEA furniture new life in a variety of products from Bemz.

First, she upcycled her rather tired Kivik sofa in a new, luxurious Graphite Grey Chenille Textured Cotton cover from Bemz, adding a touch of contemporary chic and warm texture to the room. The colour looks great with Julia's gorgeous rug and makes her fab artwork pop.

Next, she gave her Stockholm easy chairs some love in Crimson Red Raffia Textured Cotton, adding a bright injection of colour to the room.

Then she tackled her dining area, revamping her Henrik chairs in Sand Beige Tegnér Melange. She also upgraded an Ängby Armchair, not shown in the photo, in a Zinc Grey Tegnér Melange.

Well done Julia. The results are fab, lifting your home to a whole new level of chic!

Caroline of Canada sent in this fab visual story of her sofa revamp with a Bemz cover. She went with a rich Fuchsia Tegnér Melange Textured Cotton for her Karlstad Sofa from IKEA.

Continuing our theme of chair covers to celebrate spring, this week’s example of how simple slipcovers from Bemz can really personalise a space comes from Jenny of France. She chose Red Unikko Printed Cotton covers by Marimekko from the Bemz Designer collection for her Henriksdal chairs, in regular fit.

Stripes & savoir faire: Henriksdal à Paris

With spring in the air, we found these lovely photos from Ashley of France very apropos. Ashley chose covers in Real Red Stockholm Stripe from Bemz for her Henriksdal chairs.

Decorating with bold stripes adds impact and color and can be used in any room. And as you can see, mixing colours, as well as different types of stripes and patterns works too. Here, two colours, yellow and red, are united in their boldness and balanced by a neutral background.

Ashley wrote: As the sun was shining here in Paris (finally!) it made our table and Bemz-covered chairs look even more magnificent than normal. Henriksdal in the USA suited up in Marimekko Kirsikka

Wendy of the USA sent in these wonderful photos of her brand new Henriksdal chairs from Ikea suited up for spring in smart, new covers from Bemz. Wendy went with Grey/Black Kirsikka covers by Marimekko from the Bemz Designer Collection.

Wendy recently purchased the two chairs to make up a six-seater dining area, complementing four Henriksdal chairs she'd previously revamped in Jet Black Stockholm Stripe and Grey/Black Kirsikka covers from Bemz.
