This one comes to us from Rogier of Belgium. Rogier sent in a whole set of wonderful photos which I will share with you here.
Rogier chose a Tegnér Melange Zinc Grey cover in lovely textured cotton for his Ektorp sofa bed.
Suffice it to say, Rogier is a man with taste (and pretty handy with a camera too!). Despite Rogier sticking to a neutral colour palette, the room is anything but neutral. He has successfully blended tone on tone colours and a mixture of textures to give his room a warm and welcoming feel. It's contemporary, fresh and sophisticated.
Here's what Rogier had to say (translated): The sofa is in my living/bedroom (like a studio apartment) at my parents' place. We painted the walls in Farrow & Balls ”Skimming Stone”, ”Stony Ground”, ”Hague Blue” and ”Lamp Room Grey” (not seen in the photos). The curtains and cushions are Laura Ashley's ”Hepburn Plain Silk”, ”Cottonwood Linen” and ”Erin Silk”. And the rest of the furniture is from IKEA and Habitat.
