Today, in our second installment of Behind the Inbox; our series aimed at bringing you closer to our fantastic customer service team, our attention turns to our German customer service rep, Ben Grosser.
Ben comes from the small town of Freiburg situated in southern Germany, but has lived in Sweden for five years:
"I’ve been responsible for German-speaking customers since I first started at Bemz in September 2008, but I often work with our Swedish and English customers too. You need to be able to help people out in many different languages with many different issues when you work in customer service at Bemz! Issues range from which colors coordinate with patterns to whether we deliver to the West Indies (unfortunately we don't yet...)! My weekly highlight is picking fabric samples with my Canadian colleague Lisa, which is always a laugh; we always marvel at the awesome names given to the Finnish Marimekko fabrics (Pirput Parput for example!)."
Outside work: Ben can often be found wandering the halls of any one of Stockholm's many museums, especially the East Asian museum of which he is particularly fond, along with everything Asian in culture! He is even studying Japanese.
