Ann of Sweden decided to mix two beautifully contrasting yet matching patterns in which to recover her Henriksdal chairs: Unikko - Black and Joonas - Black/White, both from the Bemz Marimekko Designer's collection. The impact, as you can see for yourself, is stunning.
Ann has achieved a sleek, yet inviting, monochromatically stylish dining room which screams contemporary chic. Ann informed us that this is an open plan space which is shared with a living room featuring a Marimekko tray in a matching pattern. Ties the rooms together nicely.
All the white is warmed thanks to the natural materials chosen: lime washed wooden floorboards, wood paneling on the walls and a simple but effective sisal rug. And I love that lamp over the table: very Jetsons! Well done Ann and thank you for sharing your home with us.
