I really wish you'd offer some leather aklternatives like PVC or whatever. I have two big dogs and a 3 year old, and ikea and Benz don't offer anything for people like me that need a "wipe and go" convenience without. Sitting on dead cows :(. When ikea does, it chooses bright orange - I'm looking at you, 2009 klippan!

Please bemz, rescue us from lack of choice in this area. Check out the faux leather in recent VWs for an example of the quality I'm looking for.

Hey Don! All very good feedback, thanks. At Bemz, we compile a list of requests, like yours, that come from customers. I've forwarded yours to our customer service reps who will record it. The more requests we get for a model or fabric, the higher it moves up the chart. Having said that though, did you know that all of our fabrics are treated to be stain resistant which means spills bead on the surface rather than soaking in so easy to clean up. On top of which, our covers are all machine washable. You can read more about it in our care folder which you'll find online under fabric descriptions.
Thanks again!

Hi, Christie. Thanks for the info... Stains are one thing, but odor is another. After a while, what I scientifically refer to as 'stuff' permeates the fabric to the cushions, and gets melded there forever. Also, taking off slipcovers to wash them is A0 a pain and B) they never go back on right.

Vinyl can be cleaned to like-new condition with some cleaner and a rag, and holds onto nothing - hair, dust, etc. As such, it's better for people with some dust allergies as well. The lack of good vinyl options means I am going to have to limit myself to just a few manufacturer styles, none of which are ideal.

I sourced a manufacturer for what looks like good fabric: http://www.izitleather.com/ . They have great color selection, and their stuff seems worthy; apparently it's used in aircraft, automotive, etc. Do you guys ever do one-off sales? Do you need a guinea pig for a 'warm leatherette' experiment? I'd kill (just not a cow) for a Kramfors covered in this Izit stuff.

Hey again Dan,
Your comments made me laugh! You obviously have a good sense of humor.
Although I would argue that after washing the Bemz covers do go back on right, I see your point and hear what you are saying.
Although we are not looking for warm leatherette guinea pigs right now, rest assured if we do need one, your name will sit firmly at the top of the list. I think you raise some really valid points which I will pass onto our R&D and customer service people. Also, fyi, you are not the first person who has asked if we do one-off sales. We may entertain it someday but not right now unfortunately.
Keep those comments coming please!

Don sorry, not Dan! Oops.
