Evy Meurman of Sweden sent in this photo of a client's living-room she redid beautifully.
Evy swapped a fuchsia sofa cover for this striking Daiquiri Green one from Bemz. The cushion adorning the sofa is covered in Bemz's Prisma Stripe Moss Green, as is the armchair (just seen).
Evy has most definitely taken some of her cues from Asia, beautifully combining the classic traditional dark wood furniture with the contemporary and vibrant greens. Sticking with clean lines and simple furniture adds style. The tall exotic-looking plant, the framed picture of the Dalai Lama (love that!) and the beautiful Designer's Guild Shanghai Rose's wallpaper (love that too!) packages the room up into this sophisticated and inviting retreat. The reason this has worked so well is because Evy chose a motif to link the room together which then allowed the flexibility to mix old and new, contemporary and traditional, East and West. Well done!
Evy is presently working on another job and has promised to share those photos with us once it's done. We look forward to it!
